Shift Leader m/w

For hotel Martin's Agora, under Martin's Agora Hospitality SA, in Louvain-La-Neuve we are looking for a Shift Leader to join our reception team at Martin's Agora City Resort in Louvain-La-Neuve. The Shift Leader will be responsible during his/her shift for managing reservations, ensuring guest satisfaction, quality of service, adherence to the resort's standards and monitoring the work of the team.

Martin's Louvain-la-Neuve is the first city resort of the Martin's Hotels family. The ideal establishment for a city trip in Louvain-La-Neuve with 108 rooms of approximately 20 m², the Martin's City Spa and its thermal baths, the cosy setting of the Di'Vino wine bar or the authentic cuisine of B'Comme and also the Apart-hotel with 102 suites (minimum 34 m²).

The fonction

Supervise and provide direction to team members to ensure excellent customer service;
Ensure that rooms are ready for guests and that special requests are met;
Respond to customer complaints and provide quick and effective solutions;
Manage reservations, billing and payments;
Participate in the training and coaching of new team members;
Be able to make decisions in case of emergency or unforeseen situations;
Ensure effective communication between the day and night shifts;
Be present on part of the shifts.

Your profile

Previous experience as a Shift Leader or seasoned Receptionist;
Excellent leadership and communication skills;
Strong ability to work under pressure and handle difficult situations;
Ability to effectively manage bookings and payments;
Thorough knowledge of quality and customer service standards;
Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards;
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays;
Excellent command of French and English, good knowledge of Dutch, knowledge of other languages is an asset;
Knowledge of Opera software.
