Night Auditor

We are looking for a Night Auditor for our two hotels in Bruges: Martin’s Relais and Martin’s Brugge, located just 500 meters apart.

Housed in five former patrician residences, Martin’s Relais invites guests to travel back in time in the heart of Bruges’ historic district. Just a short walk away, Martin’s Brugge offers a modern and welcoming setting right next to the Belfry. Two unique atmospheres to discover one of Belgium’s most beautiful cities.

Your Role

• Welcome guests after reception closing hours;
• Handle late check-ins and guide guests to their rooms;
• Process early check-outs;
• Act as the point of contact during the night: provide information, manage phone calls, handle wake-up calls, and take messages;
• Monitor the hotel’s overnight operations;
• Ensure safety by removing unwanted visitors and supervising entries, exits, and emergency exits;
• Initiate emergency procedures in case of fire and assist guests if needed;
• Adjust heating and lighting systems as necessary;
• Perform various administrative tasks;
• Prepare the breakfast buffet.

The majority of shifts take place at night, but an occasional evening shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) may be required.

Your Profile

• You are friendly, welcoming, and proactive;
• You enjoy working as part of a team;
• You speak French, Dutch, and English (other languages are an asset);
• You have some experience in a similar position;
• Knowledge of the Opera hotel management system is a plus.
