Join Martin's Brugge:
Certain streets in historic downtown are car-free or car-low at specific times. Starting Saturday, July 1, 2023, the car-free zone will be expanded.
There are three color zones, each with specific regulations:
- The orange zone (the Steenstraat) is completely car-free between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. every day.
- The yellow zone (Katelijnestraat and adjacent streets between Ankerplein and Mariastraat up to and including Heilige Geeststraat) is restricted to traffic between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. every day.
- The streets in the green zone are restricted to traffic between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday.
From Monday to Friday, we advise you to take the zuidzandstraat and turn off at St. Saviour's Cathedral to reach the hotel.
On Saturdays and Sundays, this road is a low-traffic zone between 1pm and 6pm. If you use it, you'll need to scan a QR-code at reception to avoid a fine.
